PLNC will be abiding by COVID regulations and guidelines issued by Netball Victoria, Outer East FNL, Cardinia Shire Council and the Victorian Government through the following procedures:
- First and foremost, if you – PLAYER, PARENT, COACH, SPECTATOR, COMMITTEE – are unwell DO NOT attend. If you have any symptoms, please get tested.
- ALL in attendance at our venue must use the QR code to register their attendance
- Sanitiser stations will be set up around the venue and at the entry to the court area –everyone who enters the court area must sanitise as they enter.
- Each team will have their own set of equipment which will be cleaned after each session/ game.
- Players to bring their own drink bottles, towels and snacks – no sharing of food.
- Only players, coaches, officials and umpires to allowed to enter court area
- Only players, coaches, TM and PC are allowed in the changerooms
- Spectators must social distance and wear a mask when not able to.
- Scorers and time keepers are encouraged to wear a mask.
- Only essential personal in club space.
- Further information will be provided regarding entry and exit from the venue/viewing area prior to the first round.
If a player/coach/umpire/volunteer tests positive:
- Contact Ann Molino or Marg Jones to advise them of the positive COVID result
- Isolate for seven days from the date you tested positive (RAT or PCR)

- If asymptomatic can leave isolation after day 7 (i.e. Day 8)
- If you have had a mild COVID illness you can recommence exercise when you feel well.
- If you develop any new symptoms, particularly chest pain or unexpected shortness of breath you should make an appointment with your GP.
- If you were very unwell, particularly if you required hospitalisation for your COVID illness then you should consider a review with your GP prior to commencing an intense exercise program.
- Can return to training on or after Day 10
- All athletes must wear a mask indoors (except when exercising)
If a players/coach/umpire/volunteer is a household or household like contact:
- Isolate for seven days (from the date the confirmed case had their test)
- Undergo a test yourself (PCR or RAT; if positive see above)
- Test again on Day 6/7 (PCR or RAT; if positive see above)
- If you test positive on a rapid antigen test, you must report your result https://www. coronavirus.vic.gov.au/report
- Return to work / training after Day 7 if your test is negative and you are asymptomatic
If players/coach/umpire/volunteeer is a casual contact:
- Monitor for symptoms
- Test (RAT or PCR) if symptoms develop and do not attend until a negative result is given
