At the home of club, we value our members and having a wellness officer at our club highlights the importance we have on making the club a safe and welcoming environment for all that call it home. We actively work to continue to review and improve our club environment through policies and procedures that impact on the wellbeing of our members.
At Pakenham Lions, we are extremely proud to be a club with heart, as identified by the SALT (Sport and Life Training) program.
We are also very proud to have ongoing engagement with Monash Health through their Healthy Sports Clubs program where we have worked to meet the targets for the areas of Mental Wellness, Injury Prevention, Inclusion for Women and Girls, Sun Protection. We are currently working on the areas of Responsible Alcohol Consumption, Preventing Drug Harm, and Smoke and Vape Free Clubs.
